Can anyone be dumb enough to believe that everything in America is "rigged" against poor little Donnie Trump?
Why would anyone send money to a billionaire "victim" who owns 16 golf courses, flies in his own private airliner and poops in a golden toilet?
If you believe that Donnie Trump is the victim of perpetual witch hunts, then you should take note that twelve jurors in New York City were able to locate not only the witch, but the bubbling cauldron, book of spells, magic wand, broomstick and flying monkeys.
These folks see no irony in believing that every investigation into Donnie Trump's festering quagmire of corruption is "election interference," but Hunter Biden's conviction on three gun-related charges is justice.
They're OK with the 8 or 9 congressional hearings about a mysterious place called Benghazi, that the chairmen of those committees, Trey Gowdy said were held to diminish Hillary Clinton's electability and the 11 hours Secretary Clinton spent in front of that committee answering questions (without ever once taking the "5th").
Republicans have the unparalleled skill of getting their base to believe that Democrats are guilty of the very things of which they (REPUBLICANS) are guilty.
It can not be simultaneously true that President Biden controls the Department of Justice while his own son is convicted for incorrectly filling out a form that Republicans want to abolish. Charges brought by a Trump-appointed special counsel that would never have been bought against anyone else in the absence of some underlying crime - like armed robbery.
During Trump's 2016 presidential run, a campaign largely based on locking up Hillary Clinton on unspecified charges, Donnie said that the only way he could lose was if the election was rigged. That was 8 years ago and the idea of rigged elections has become an integral part of Republican politics.
Sometimes I try to imagine what it's like to believe that every scientist, historian, doctor, judge, jury and prosecutor spent their entire lives just waiting for a chance to screw Donnie Trump. They are right right about one thing, though, we do have a steeply-stepped two-tiered system of justice.
Donnie Trump has been afforded courtesies, liberties and unwarranted liberties that NONE of us would ever enjoy. At least none of us non-billionaires.
How many times have you heard of a convicted felon zooming a meeting with his parole officer from Mar-a-Lardo, with his lawyer sitting by his side? Never, that's how many times.
Donnie said that if it could happen to him it could happen to any of us and he's right about that, too. It could happen to any of us running for president, who paid off a lover to cover up an extra-marital affair for the purpose of pulling the wool over the eyes of voters.
That's right, any of us could be indicted for stealing classified documents, especially those containing nuclear secrets of our allies or our military preparedness.
To see how the Trump administration treated regular folk in a classified documents case, read How many Americans know Reality?
Donnie's crime spree and immunity from consequences is like the once-in-1,000-year rain this week in South Florida.
The faithful (Stupid People, Trumpanzees, MAGAts, GOP apologizers, Russian Trolls, Fox Bubblites, etc) pretend that it either didn't happen, it happens all the time or it's President Biden's fault.
My friend, Norm (one of the faithful) said that he remembers the last once-in-1,000-year rain, which would make him even older than he looks. It takes a very special kind of person to experience so many once-a-millennium events within their own lives and then say that climate change is a hoax.
The kind of person, I suppose, that could accept being told that their own eyes are deceiving them. Makes me wonder if banning sight is next on Moms for Liberty's agenda.
