Is Kevin McCarthy the weakest, most corrupt leader of the U.S. House of Representatives in our history?

Should they change his title to Squeaker of the House?

Regarding the Squeaker of the House thing in the subtitle, I just threw it in for laughs. That one I actually made up myself.

Squeaker makes it sound like he's more of a mouse than a man, which is true, but as for Kevin's basic nature, he is 100% rat.

In terms of legislative accomplishments, which one would think should be the determining metric of a speaker's success, two-time Democratic Speaker Nancy Pelosi is objectively the most successful and influential speaker in modern times.

If you want to talk about changing the face of politics in America and blowing up the bridge spanning the political divide, Republican Speaker Newt Gingrich would take home that prize.

For the record, Gingrich didn't actually ask his wife for a divorce on her deathbed, he merely wanted her to discuss terms of their divorce from her hospital bed immediately following surgery to remove a tumor.

Republican John Boner was a transitional speaker whose tenure was rocky and bedeviled by the growing Tea Party wing of the GOP.

Boner was a consummate politician who mostly weathered the storms, but his ability to change course with the prevailing winds is best illustrated by his post-speaker gig as a spokesman for the marijuana industry.

Boner's successor, Paul Ryan was a bit of poser who fancied himself some kind of policy wonk, but had no more information about our tax code than your local strip mall H&R Block.

Among all these luminaries though, Kevin Owen McCarthy, 55th speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives stands alone. Living in a very strange version of reality, McCarthy may actually be from a far away galaxy, where honor has yet to be discovered.

Following the January 6, 2021 attack on our nation's Capitol by Trump fanatics, McCarthy said, on the floor of Congress, The President bears responsibility for Wednesday's attack on Congress by mob rioters.

He condemned the mob violence of Jan 6 as un-democratic, un-American and criminal, and went on to say that Donnie should ensure President-elect Biden is able to successfully begin his term.

Good guy, right? McCarthy though, like everyone else Donnie touches turned to shit.

Following a visit to Mar-a-Lardo for intense negotiations, probably with McCarthy on his knees - I know what you're thinking and you may be right, but I was alluding to Kevin on his knees, groveling - a new version of McCarthy was unveiled.

It was so eerie and abrupt that it could be the basis for another remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers which, ironically, starred an actor named Kevin McCarthy

Speaking of irony, that sense is one thing missing in McCarthy and Republicans in general. Or maybe it's just their total lack of shame, but more on that later.

Based on the 2020 census, some interesting changes have occurred in both the House of Representatives and the electoral college. Not surprisingly, those changes look suspiciously like Republican districts forged through gerrymandering.

The census, overseen by Trump's Commerce Secretary, Wilbur Ross was cut short, supposedly due to the epidemic and has a taint of manipulation. As far as scandals go, it's not very sexy and as a once-a-decade event, not at the top of anyone's list.

Just so we know the players though, Ross was found to have lied to Forbes Magazine about some $2 Billion worth of assets and is accused of stealing $120 Million from the bank he ran. Not to put too fine a point on that however, it was actually a plus for access to Trumpworld.

The point is, all that manipulation and a weird turn of events, including the election of a New York congressman whose name may or may not be George Santos gave Republicans their very slim majority in the House.

McCarthy's 15-round battle to become speaker was unprecedented in modern times and for most of those votes, the House minority leader, Hakeem Jeffries beat out McCarthy.

Fox's Laura Ingraham described the chaos in the House as democracy in action. That from the network whose open contempt for democracy is what has it facing a $1.6 Billion defamation suit in court.

It also exemplifies the reason Ingraham's family hates her.

However you want to describe McCarthy's little fiefdom, it's anything but a democracy. According to the new McCarthy, January 6, 2021 was just a normal visitors day and the insurrectionists, both locked up and awaiting trial are persecuted patriots and should be set free.

The speaker of the House of Representative wants convicted felons who attacked elected officials and law enforcement officers to be set free. And this isn't even in the top three of McCarthy's betrayals of his oath of office, his position, the country and the Constitution.

Giving 40,000 video hours of the Jan 6 insurrection, some of which contain explicit views of escape routes used by lawmakers and the Vice President to a man (TuKKKer Carlson) whose own lawyers testified that no reasonable person could believe is the weakest, most dangerous compromise any politician has made since Neville Chamberlain gave Czechoslovakia to Hitler.

Who knows what else King Rat gave up for the gavel?

Irony? Republicans have set up committees to investigate the weaponization of our government, something with which they had no problem during Trump's 4-year run at dictatorship.

The IRS audited two of Trump's main FBI foes, James Comey and Andrew McCabe. There's a better chance of me winning Powerball than that randomly happening.

Trump got rid of Attorney General Jeff Sessions because Sessions wasn't doing anything to protect Trump from ongoing investigations. Billy Barr proved to be every bit the criminal attorney general Trump needed.

Barr did everything from going after Trump's enemies, like Michael Cohen to completely burying the Mueller Report. An investigation that concluded that Trump committed multiple crimes that needed to be pursued by the Justice Department.

Trump's corrupt, self-dealing Postmaster General, Louis DeJoy did everything in his power to cripple the USPS to minimize the impact of mail-in voting for the 2020 election.

With all of that blatant weaponization of the entire Trump administration, Kevin McCarthy and his band of indignant, outraged idiots are investigating Hunter Biden's laptop.

Maybe they’ll reopen a Benghazi investigation.

So, along comes Trump and announces that he's going to be arrested tomorrow. While he's probably lying, it would still be years late.

What's a weak, corrupt, pathetic speaker of the House to do? If you guessed investigate the investigators and circle the wagons around Donnie, you guessed right.

According to McCarthy and the lying liars of the GOP and Fox, Donnie has never done anything wrong and anyone investigating him is obviously corrupt.

Ron DeStupid said that New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg is a George Soros funded D.A., whatever that means. They know that the stupid people don't realize that politicians don't indict people, juries do.

Following Donnie's Truth Social (now there's an ironic name) post, PROTEST! PROTEST! PROTEST!, McCarthy said in a public statement that Donnie is not calling for protests.

See what I mean? No sense of irony and, worst of all, no shame.

Make no mistake. Our EX president, the speaker of the House of Representatives and their corrupt, shameless cronies are calling for obstruction of justice and intimidation of witnesses and prosecutors.

Brian Sicknick, Jeffrey Smith, Howard Liebengood, Gunther Hashida and Kyle DeFreytag are Capitol police officers who died as a direct result of the Jan 6 mob riot (as McCarthy referred to it).

Rioter Ashli Babbitt committed suicide by cop, Kevin Greeson had a heart attack during the melee, Rosanne Boyland was crushed to death and website Trumparoo founder Benjamin Philips died of a stroke.

ALL THESE BODIES ARE ON TRUMP.

Whether or not Donnie is held accountable for the Stormy Daniels payoff, he should be held accountable for the swath of death and destruction he is leaving in his wake.

One reader said that for every death caused by Trump's call for violence in New York tomorrow, one of Don Jr's fingers should be cut off.

That may seem harsh - cruel and unusual, even - especially since Donnie would rather offer up Eric to be turned into ground meat.

Perhaps his super PAC could do something with the revival of Sweeny Todd on Broadway. They could put Eric in the barber chair on coffee mugs and T-shirts and sell them on their website.

Anyway, right now we need to heart New York. Or, as the French might say, Je suis New York.
